In-School Programmes

Our in-school sessions run throughout the academic year in two parallel programmes designed specifically for Year 10 and Year 12 students.

Year 10
Year 10

Welcome to the year 10 in-school programme!

This is a fun educational programme, where you will be challenged with information (and misinformation!) from the media outlets and discover how presenting data through a certain prism can influence our response to it!

You will also be taking on the role of the CEO by extracting the relevant factual detail from a subjectively presented media article and delivering it objectively to the group!

By the end of this programme, you can expect to grow into a confident public speakerand an agent of change for the neurodiverse community! :D

Year 12

Welcome to the year 12 in-school programme!

In this engaging programme delivered by university students or recent graduates, your knowledge of the Special Educational Differences (SPEDs) will be expanded.

You will be investigating the origins of mainstream stigmas about the most common SPEDs and unpicking their impact on the SPED community.

Each session will focus on helping you develop a different transferrable skill, including presentation skills, critical analysis and convincing public debate!

You will be supported along the way by 2 meet the mentor sessions, 3 online mentoring sessions and the December assignment.
